Martha Ortiz's vibrant Roma Norte return - Bib Gourmand, feminine-lyrical presentation, jewel-box dishes. Filigrana is chef Martha Ortiz's Roma Norte restaurant at the base of the Cauduro building - named after the filigree jewelry technique and executed with exactly that level of craft. Following Dulce Patria, Ortiz returns with a sun-drenched space (purple-cushioned chairs, floor-to-ceiling windows, full-grown trees inside) and a menu that weaves fine threads of Mexican culinary memory into vivid, playful dishes. Expect guacamole with fava beans and insect salt, open quesadillas with beef tongue, modern mole with roasted beef and baby vegetables, chiles en nogada, pozole with recaudo, and zarandeado fish. Cocktails are equally imaginative. Bib Gourmand in the 2026 Michelin Guide. Aimed at special occasions but priced surprisingly reasonably - a rising comparison to Michelin-starred peers. Filigrana holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction in the 2026 Michelin Guide. It is chef Martha Ortiz's follow-up to her earlier restaurant Dulce Patria, applying the same narrative approach to Mexican cuisine at a more accessible price point.
